Eng. Mahboub Maalim "It is my pleasure to present the 2008 IGAD Annual Report, though I only contributed to its activities in the second half of the year."

I can report with humble confidence that my first six months at the helm was a watershed for the organisation. We have witnessed an intensified interest in the affairs of the organization from both the member states and the development partners.
